Claudine Cornille conceives her practice as the applied weaving of "a story" that would gather, preserve and order a repertoire of emotions from the living. Trace, shadow, quiver, imprint, fault, the artist's paintings, collages, montages and photographs are always the result of a physical and mental wandering that allows her to open the doors of an elsewhere, the fruit of a simultaneous vision of what is aging and what is coming, the junction of two times, a displacement forward and a return backward, the crossing of two spaces in that of the frame as well as in that of the lens.
