Concert-show by the winners of the 17th Gordes International Melody Competition 2025 Amélie Debuiche, mezzo-soprano, Nicolas Hézelot, baritone, and Alice Gibert, piano.

An entertaining evening for all audiences featuring tunes and ensembles by Jacques Offenbach.

Winners of the 17th Gordes Melody Competition 2025:

Amélie Debuiche, mezzo-soprano

With a DEM in flute, Amélie Debuiche initially pursued a career as an instrumentalist before turning to opera singing. After studying at the conservatoire in Paris's 10th arrondissement, where she discovered a taste for the stage as well as for the repertoire of melodies and Lieder with N. Fehrenbach and C. Lecoz, Amélie Debuiche perfected her skills in the class of B. Balleys and then G. Garciacano at the Haute École de Musique in Lausanne and joined the opera choir.

Nicolas Hézelot, baritone

Nicolas began his career at the Maîtrise de Radio France before singing in the adult choir of Notre-Dame de Paris. He holds degrees in guitar and musicology. A laureate of the Royaumont Foundation, he continued his vocal studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and now studies at the CNSMD in Paris with Valérie Guillorit. He also joined Anne Le Bozec's class and has been working with Louis for two years. He performs regularly as a soloist and with the MM Académie de la Monnaie in Brussels.

Alice Gibert, piano

Alice obtained her first Diploma in Musical Studies (DEM) at the Conservatoire de Lyon, then in 2019 a second DEM at the Conservatoire de Toulouse with honours. In the same year, she was admitted to the Haute École de Musique de Genève in Neuchâtel, where she studied with Fabrizio Chiovetta. There she discovered vocal accompaniment, a discipline that inspired her and which she chose to develop. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in 2022, followed by a Master's degree in instrumental pedagogy in 2024. A curious and versatile artist, Alice Gibert also took up the organ and opera singing, thus enriching her musical understanding. She currently divides her time between accompanying opera singers and instrumentalists, chamber music and teaching.
