Outdoor Boxing Session at Oustaou du Luberon

Julien, an English boxing coach, gathers a maximum of 6 people for a discovery session and training.
Boxing, often called "the noble art," is a sport where strength meets strategy and agility.

For a beginner, mastering basic techniques like the jab, cross, hook, and uppercut is essential. Each punch has its role: the jab to maintain distance, the cross for power, the hook to get around the defense, and the uppercut to surprise.
More than just a display of strength, boxing is a rhythmic and strategic art, where repetition and practice of fundamental movements are crucial for any aspiring boxer.
Posture and guard in boxing are the foundations on which everything else rests. Like a building, if the base is solid, the techniques rise with confidence.
In boxing, posture is not just about physical positioning; it is also an expression of your mindset, a mix of focus and readiness for combat.

How does a boxing class for women, men, and children (8+ years) unfold?
Here’s what to expect during a typical session – but remember, it's your vacation!

  • Warm-up: The session always begins with a thorough warm-up, often focused on jump rope. This exercise improves coordination and endurance while engaging both legs and arms.
  • Technique and combos: The core of the class focuses on learning the basic techniques (jabs, hooks, uppercuts) and practicing punch combinations...
  • No punching bags!
  • Cardio and strength training: Between punch sequences, cardio exercises (burpees, squats, push-ups) are included to improve overall physical fitness.
  • Stretching and relaxation: To conclude, stretching exercises help relax the muscles and prevent injuries.

And all of this in the great outdoors – interested?
