A Dickens adaptation where Scrooge’s Strange Christmas comes to life through object theatre and puppets, turning simple everyday items into characters and scenes.
Foyer rural, rue de la mairie, 84360, Lauris
Sunday 7 December 2025 from 3.30 pm.

A free adaptation of Charles Dickens’ tale, this object theatre and puppet show reinvents Scrooge’s story with poetry, imagination and delicacy.
Carried by inventive staging, the world unfolds before your eyes as simple objects become characters, places and emotions. Scrooge, a lonely old man, has his Christmas Eve turned upside down by three ghosts who take him through his past, present and future Christmases.
A sensitive experience that questions what truly matters – between possession and sharing – performed with finesse through the acting and manipulation of Clara Grid, under the direction of Eberhard Meinzolt. A touching and accessible moment, perfect for sharing the magic of Christmas with the whole family.
Duration: 40 minutes
