With On fera mieux la prochaine fois, Nicolas Heredia imagines a contemporary talk on the big screen, at the crossroads of theatre and cinema. He challenges the actresses and actors of the La Bulle Bleue company to take on a singular task: re-enacting iconic interviews with great figures of cinema, in a space where one does not act, but tells one’s story.

Through these archival voices, the backstage of the artist’s profession emerges: working methods, doubts, limits, failures, fears, but also moments of confidence and fragile discoveries. On stage, filmed images and live presence respond to one another, creating a free, humorous and deeply sensitive form.

This hybrid creation explores what connects us all: our vulnerability, our hesitations, and that sometimes unexpected ability to land back on our feet. A moving and tender work that subtly questions our relationship to performance, failure and the courage to try again.
