Monsieur Tchikeutchik is a mysterious maraca-egg that gradually reveals itself through the gestures it performs, each movement becoming sound and discovery. A unique character, he hides something within and tells his story as much through his actions as through the sounds he creates.
Designed as a first sensory encounter with rhythm and sound, this show offers a playful musical world that captures the attention of very young children. Born from a creative residency in August 2022 at the Halte-jeux Les Mistigris in Pertuis, it was developed in close contact with young children inside a yurt dedicated to artistic and cultural awakening.
A gentle and poetic experience, perfect for awakening curiosity and imagination. The performance follows a simple narrative thread in which the artist explores different ways of playing the instrument, enriched by three original songs written by François Lemaire: Graines de café, Samares and Dortoir renard.
