Located in the town of Goult, in the Luberon Regional Natural Park, the Domaine de la Verrière extends its vineyard on hillsides surrounded by an area classified Natura 2000.

Located on the Gardi hill, between Goult and Roussillon, the estate benefits from a remarkable environment, open to the Calavon valley and the Luberon mountain.
The name of the estate comes from an old glass factory. In 1470, King René of Provence installed art glassmakers from Italy there.
Even today, the Domaine de la Verrière cultivates this singular identity, between history, landscape, family viticulture and wines from the AOP Ventoux.
A family history and a cellar full of character
In 1969, Bernard and Françoise Maubert fell in love with this privileged place overlooking the Calavon Valley. They then participated in promoting one of the very first private cellars in AOP Ventoux.
In 1985, their son Jacques succeeded them, helped by his wife Véronique. Since spring 2024, their son Valentin has in turn joined the family estate.
The wine cellar dates from 1900, with a vat room built of local stone. It was expanded in 2000 with the construction of an underground barrel cellar, an air-conditioned room for the storage and aging of wines in bottles, as well as a modern vat room for whites and rosés.
This family history is reflected in each cuvée, with attention paid to the balance, quality and expression of the land.
Terroir & know-how

The estate benefits from a varied soil, which allows grape varieties to be planted according to the exposure, the nature of the soil and that of the subsoil.
Varieties intended for white and rosé wines are planted on the ochre sand soils: Grenache Noir, Cinsault, Clairette, Vermentino, Vermentino, Roussanne and Viognier. On the clay-limestone soils on the hillsides, the estate grows Grenache Noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre in particular for red wines.
The various cuvees are worked using AOP Ventoux grape varieties and with adapted breeding methods: stainless steel tanks, concrete tanks, barrels, casks and dolias.
A vineyard worked with rigor and respect for living things
The vines in production are worked without a weed killer. The soil is ploughed alternately with grass rows, in order to limit yields and erosion.
The estate favors organic fertilizers to maintain soil balance and promote microbiological life. Since the 2024 vintage, it has benefited from the AB Organic Agriculture certification.
Short size in winter, rigorous disbudding in spring and green harvesting if necessary limit yields and promote the expression of traditional grape varieties.
