The project of a lifetime: the inspiring renewal of the Blanche Fleur estate

When Marie-Claude, the owner of the estate, discovered the site, it was but a shadow of its former self: a collection of ruins bearing witness to a bygone era, once vibrant with activity thanks to its paper mill and the presence of monks who lived in the upper part of the mill and worked in the lower part.

But that was without counting on Marie-Claude's determination. Driven by a desire to safeguard this historic landmark, she embarked on a colossal project: to breathe new life into a place she had fallen in love with.

Marie-Claude: "My husband and I bought Blanche Fleur 30 years ago. Everything was in ruins! It was an old paper mill, the moulin neuf, which had belonged to families from generation to generation."

Marie-Claude: "I was embarking on a rather crazy project, but I'm a farmer's daughter, and I've been working all my life. I've always been used to it, so it didn't scare me. When I arrived at the estate, I sat down on the low wall near the Blanche Fleur chapel and thought about this project, which inspired me enormously. After a meeting with the owner and a few twists and turns, I called my husband and told him that I'd bought the estate. He said to me, "Are you sure you're on the right track? My answer was very clear: he who wants the end wants the means. And that's how the Blanche Fleur adventure began!

The estate has gradually regained its soul, becoming a warm welcome for events and holidays that leave a lasting impression.

Marie-Claude: "It gave me the blues! The work was spread out over several years. But I've always had a little helping hand, a twist of fate. This place, which dates back to the 15th century, has been open to the public for 22 years and I'm more than delighted with what it has become. In life, you don't get something for nothing.

In the heart of the gentle Provençal countryside, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the estate is now open to holidaymakers in search of serenity and offers unforgettable stays (particularly at the height of the season, when events give way to tranquillity). The estate has a bastide with 7 gîtes for rent, for 2, 4 or 6 people, with a total of 26 beds and 4 beds for children. A unique opportunity to discover the area for short, medium or long stays, with family, friends or lovers.

Marie-Claude and her husband took great care in restoring the wooden framework, calling on the services of a Compagnon du devoir to guarantee respect for the heritage of the site and symbolise their commitment to heritage conservation. A key moment in the evolution of the estate.

With a breathtaking view over the swimming pool, the Orangerie combines charm and elegance and is the ideal setting for your receptions, moving speeches and unforgettable dance evenings.
