This emblematic festival, organised by the Cavare Jazz Festival association, offers you two evenings of four concerts, where you can discover or rediscover lively, inspired and diverse jazz, in an intimate and well-kept setting, at the Salle du Moulin Saint-Julien.

Part 1: Pierre-François Blanchard & Thomas Savy "Puzzled
Few albums have the freshness of a spring and the sovereign breadth of a delta. For their creator, they represent both a point of origin and a point of resolution: a place where everything converges without being reduced, where it unravels in order to begin again, where it comes to an end in order to be reassembled and recomposed. Such is #puzzled, the first CD that pianist Pierre-François Blanchard has recorded under his own name, with clarinettist Thomas Savy as his brother in arms - though it would probably be more accurate to write “brother of the soul” here.

Part 2: Johan Farjot Quartet Feat Laura Prince - Stevie Wonder, the king of pop and jazz
Stevie Wonder's music transcends time and borders, making his repertoire part of the common heritage of humanity. Somewhere between jazz, soul and funk, his compositions such as Sir Duke, Pastime Paradise and Overjoyed resonate with a rare timelessness. Inspired by the great names of jazz, he has captured the very essence to create a deeply human music, vibrant with emotion and freedom. This concert is a celebration of that heritage.

Part 1: Aurélien Bellanca Trio
Led by drummer and composer Aurélien Bellanca, this trio offers a contemporary style of jazz that explores the balance between structure and spontaneity, with compositions that are bright, cheerful and exciting. Accompanied by pianist Arnaud Bécaus and double bassist Pierre-François Maurin, these three musicians present an elegant and delicate musical universe of sensitive, poetic and romantic melodies.

Part 2: YOLO (You Only Live One)
YOLO stands for You Only Live One - enjoy yourself, even if it means taking risks! So if you're not only having fun, you're giving it!
Kevin Reveyrand strolls his four strings with ease and suppleness, through themes that seem to circle the Mediterranean, only to return again and again to Spain, with that touch of nostalgia that makes things even more beautiful...
Christophe Lampidecchia's accordion leads the way, as it often does, as on the swaying “Utarizona”, which can't help but make your hips undulate.
In “Yolo”, a dialogue of guitars, Olivier-Roman Garcia's acoustic and Kévin's electric bass, shows us once again that it would be simplistic to confine this instrument to a rhythmic role. As for percussionist Jean-Luc Di Fraya, he makes his cajon vibrate with the finesse of his other instruments. A lacey performance.
