Jazz à Oppède offers an evening full of emotion and flavors with Jazz Black Queens, a concert-tasting surrounded by nature at the foot of the Luberon.
Around the great icons of vocal jazz, Laure Donnat, voice, Lilian Bencini, double bass, and Louis Winsberg, guitar, pay tribute to three unforgettable divas.
An intimate and warm evening, between live music, local wines and snacks provided by Tige.
Divas are not the preserve of lyrical music. In the world of jazz, three names are obvious: Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone.
It is around these icons of vocal jazz, each marked by a unique history, that the Jazz Black Queens evening revolves around.
Laure Donnat's voice passionately embodies these queens of jazz, in a vibrant tribute to their musical power and their heritage.
Together, they revisit the most beautiful songs by Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone, combining emotion, finesse and intensity.
The encounter of voice, double bass and guitar promises a musical color that is at once intimate, sensitive and deeply inhabited.
This evening combines the pleasure of jazz with that of discovering local flavors, in a natural setting at the foot of the Luberon.
Local wine tastings and snacks will be provided by Tige, to accompany the concert in a friendly and authentic atmosphere.
An appointment designed as a sensory break, between music, nature, encounters and gourmet pleasures.
