For its 33rd edition, Court c’est Court expands to five days of screenings, from Wednesday to Sunday. All public screenings take place at La Cigale cinema in Cavaillon.

From one screening to the next, audiences move between different worlds and discover the full richness of the short-film format: international films, regional productions, documentaries, animation, comedy and more unexpected selections. The programme combines established festival favourites with new discoveries.

Court c’est Court also extends beyond the screen: meetings with film professionals, discussions after selected screenings and programmes for young audiences and families enrich the festival experience throughout the five days.

The 2026 programme combines new highlights, themed screenings and favourites that have become part of the festival over the years. International films, regional productions, documentaries, animation, comedy and programmes for younger audiences showcase the many faces of short film.

New for 2026

Two screenings offering different perspectives

•A high-tension screening

A programme combining crime, thriller and fantasy, designed around suspense, darker atmospheres and the codes of genre cinema.

•Mental health at the heart of a themed screening

Questions of mental and emotional balance are at the heart of the selected films and the discussion following the screening. This programme has been developed in collaboration with the Isatis association.

A taste of Court c’est Court at Cavaillon Media Library

Ahead of the 33rd Court c’est Court Festival, the Cinambule association invites audiences to enjoy a first glimpse of the festival at the Cavaillon Media Library.

The programme includes a selection of films from the latest edition, combining humour, tenderness, more serious themes and discovery, followed by a discussion introducing the upcoming festival programme and offering a chance to meet the Cinambule team.
