From September to December 2026, the Luberon Monts de Vaucluse Media Library Network invites you to enjoy a lively and varied programme of free cultural events accessible to everyone. Exhibitions, talks, lectures, shows, workshops, readings, games, music, films and digital events will bring this new season to life.
To mark the Bicentenary of Photography, the network’s twelve media libraries are also hosting a wide range of events exploring the many faces of photography, from its history to its most contemporary forms. These are opportunities to observe, understand, create and share… or simply to be surprised.
From Cavaillon to Oppède and from Lagnes to Lourmarin, the area’s media libraries invite you to discover a programme bringing together photography, literature, science and artistic activities.
Photography takes centre stage this season. Exhibitions, talks, screenings and workshops will accompany the Bicentenary of Photography, celebrated throughout France from 1 September 2026 to 30 September 2027.
Literature, music, cinema, live performances, games and digital activities complete this generous programme. Whether you come with your family, with friends or simply out of curiosity, there will always be a good reason to step inside one of the media libraries.

From September to December 2026, the Luberon Monts de Vaucluse media libraries are presenting a cultural programme designed for all ages and interests.
This season is organised around several themes: exhibitions, shows, talks, literary encounters, music, cinema, workshops, games and digital activities. Events will take place in the various media libraries throughout the area.
Most activities can be enjoyed as a family. All events are free of charge, but advance booking is required for some activities due to limited availability.
The Luberon Monts de Vaucluse Media Library Network currently includes 12 libraries and one reading point in Les Beaumettes. The central media library, La Durance, is located in Cavaillon.
The other libraries are located in Cabrières-d’Avignon, Lagnes, Robion, Les Taillades, Oppède, Maubec, Cheval-Blanc, Mérindol, Lauris, Lourmarin and Puyvert.
With more than 240,000 shared items and nearly 400,000 loans every year, the network is a major cultural resource. Items can be transferred between libraries by shuttle service and collected or returned at the media library of your choice.
Books, board games, musical instruments, CDs, DVDs and video games complete a collection designed for all audiences. On-site consultation and admission to events are free of charge.
