On February 19, 2027 in Cavaillon, Christian Rizzo presented In the Shadow of a Vast Detail, Out of Storm. , a choreographic piece that invites you to slow down and observe what happens in the simplest gestures.
On stage, everything starts with simple, precise and almost ordinary gestures. Gradually, the look is transformed and these movements take on another dimension, between calm, attention and the search for discreet beauty.
Seven dancers make up a collective movement in perpetual transformation. The group is formed, dispersed and then reunited, creating images that appear before they slip away.
Christian Rizzo thus sets bodies, space, light and music in motion, in a room that seeks a form of serene joy in the heart of the details.
With this creation, Christian Rizzo proposes to pay attention to these things that sometimes happen without notice. Gestures, movements, and relationships between performers gradually become the core of the experience.
Between concrete actions and more poetic images, choreography leaves plenty of room for movement and observation.
