Sommaire
At La Méridien, in the heart of Old Oppède, the Espace des Arts is hosting an exhibition by Nadine Jean, a sculptor who explores metal and forgotten materials with a sensitive, poetic and deeply contemporary approach.
A sculptor of metal and forgotten materials, Nadine Jean is developing an approach based on upcycling, transformation and reinvention. His work starts with a simple and powerful gesture: recover, dismantle, divert, then restore form and meaning to abandoned fragments.
Through his sculptures, metal frees itself from its apparent rigidity to become living matter. He then tells about balance, strength, gentleness, sometimes even tenderness. Associated with wood, paper or ceramics, it composes a sensitive plastic language, where each work seems to carry an intention, a presence, almost a voice.
In the intimate atmosphere of La Méridien, this exhibition takes on a particular dimension. The visitor discovers artistic work that naturally dialogues with the soul of the place, between authenticity, creativity and a sense of detail. The experience is not limited to a simple visit. It becomes a moment of contemplation, curiosity and inner resonance.
