More than 20 artists brought together at the Fruitière Numérique

Festival New Art 2026 at the Fruitière Numérique in Lourmarin

For two days, Festival New Art transforms the Fruitière Numérique into a meeting place for contemporary art. More than 20 emerging and established artists present their creative worlds through artworks, installations and performances.

Painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, street art, prints, light painting and installations form a deliberately diverse programme. The exhibition design encourages dialogue between different artistic practices while bringing visitors closer to the artists and their work.

Here, art is not only discovered once a work is complete. The artists are present, and some pieces take shape before the audience's eyes, turning the visit into a moment of observation, conversation and experimentation.

Festival New Art 2026 programme in Lourmarin

Exhibitions, live creation, immersive experiences and workshops bring the two days of Festival New Art to life. Visitors can move from observation to experimentation and discover different forms of contemporary art throughout their visit.

An exhibition featuring more than 20 artists

A selection of original works invites visitors to explore a wide variety of artistic worlds and techniques, including painting, photography, sculpture, street art, drawing, prints, installations and light painting.

Live artistic performances

Some artists create directly in front of visitors, offering a chance to observe their gestures, choices and the different stages that gradually lead to the finished work.

The Illuminarium by Cie ODE

Open continuously throughout both days, this surprising “vision machine” plays with light, perception and imagination. An immersive and psychedelic experience inviting visitors to see things differently and embrace the unexpected.

Creative workshops for everyone

Beginners and experienced participants alike are invited to get creative in guided workshops. Activities announced include customising a T-shirt, tote bag or cap and giving free rein to your imagination.

A festival where you can watch art being created and meet the artists

Festival New Art is more than a succession of exhibited works: the 2026 edition puts the spotlight on encounters, live creation and audience participation. Visitors can move between different artistic practices, watch performances, discuss the works with artists and then try their hand at creating during the workshops.

This diversity brings emerging and established artists together in one place, selected for the distinctive nature of their work, their artistic commitment and the variety of their approaches.

Extend your visit

A shop offers posters, sculptures, limited editions, design objects and other artistic creations. A terrace, bar and food options complete the festival spaces, providing the perfect opportunity to take a break and continue the conversation.

A contemporary art festival organised by Créalub

Festival New Art is organised by the Lourmarin-based association Créalub, which works to promote contemporary artistic and cultural creation. The event brings together established artists and emerging talents as part of an independent local cultural project.

The festival is particularly committed to making artistic expression more accessible, supporting artists and promoting a culture based on encounters and sharing. The 2026 edition is organised in partnership with the Town of Lourmarin and the Fruitière Numérique.
