Due to a prefectoral decree temporarily banning fireworks throughout the Vaucluse department (high risk of fire caused by drought, high temperatures, and strong winds), the Cavaillon fireworks display scheduled for this Monday, July 13th, has been cancelled. The municipality will provide updates in the event of a postponement.

PLEASE NOTE: This event has been cancelled by prefectural order due to the risk of fire.
This cancellation follows a prefectural order temporarily banning fireworks displays throughout the Vaucluse department, due to the high risk of fire linked to drought, high temperatures and wind.
The display was originally scheduled to take place at the Cavaillon racecourse as part of the Bastille Day celebrations. The City of Cavaillon will provide further information if a postponement is considered.
Before travelling, visitors are advised to check the official information issued by the City of Cavaillon.
The decision was taken to limit the risk of fire in a period of heightened vigilance. Weather conditions, marked by drought, high temperatures and wind, make fireworks displays particularly sensitive.
This measure applies to the whole Vaucluse department during the ban period set by prefectural order.
