On the Saint-Jacques hill in Cavaillon, the archaeological remains serve as a starting point to go up to the Cavares and take an interest in what they ate. Figs, honey, pine nuts or even rosemary allow children to discover some flavors consumed by our ancestors.
After this dive into history, it's time for experimentation: each child prepares their own Gallic snack, before also enjoying pastries. A concrete way of approaching archaeology through food and everyday actions.
