With Hors-Champs, the author and photographer Sandra Reinflet highlights ten agricultural workers who feed the territory.
Between photography, storytelling and staging, the exhibition questions the visibility of these women and men whose essential actions often remain out of the daily eye.

Who are the workers who sow, plant, water, water, care for, grow, harvest and sell what we put on our plates?
They come from Spain, Morocco, Senegal, Senegal, Ecuador and all over France to work around Cavaillon, in sometimes precarious conditions.
Their function is essential, their careers are often remarkable, but their schedules and working conditions make them difficult to see on a daily basis.
Sandra Reinflet met ten agricultural workers to question their backgrounds, their stories and what they like to do outside of work.
Each portrait unfolds in three parts, on the border between documentary and staging, to show a presence, a story, a singularity.
At first glance, only the fruit of agricultural work appears. You have to open the object, like an altarpiece, to discover the portraits and enter into the encounter.
The Hors-Champs project is labeled Bicentenary of Photography by the Ministry of Culture and is part of the official Bicentenary program, from September 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027.
The opening will take place on Friday, September 18 at 6 p.m., in the presence of Sandra Reinflet and the participating agricultural workers.
