Instameet - 25 June 2022

What is an Instameet?  It is a meeting between several influencers who share common passions. The aim of this event is to help people discover a territory and activities while having a real moment of conviviality. The instagramers (influencers of the social network Instagram) take photos and videos and share them with their community on Instagram.

A breakfast in the Cedar forest of Cabrières-d'Avignon!

The day starts with a good breakfast in the Cedar forest of Cabrières-d'Avignon... Viennese pastries from the ICI bakery in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue accompanied by delicious fresh fruit juice from Kookabarra in Cavaillon.  

Mountain bike and electric scooter rides! 

It's time for our influencers to start the day's activities! Without missing a beat, we get on our mountain bikes or electric scooters with our guides and head for the Col de Lagnes, the Carpentras canal and Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Here we are: we ride along different roads, and discover different viewpoints during our ride... We had a lot of fun!

It's time for our guests to get their transport for the day... A beautiful 70's Yes Provence/ Vintage Roads combi van! 

Walk in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue 

Our influencers then joined our beautiful Comtadine Venice, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. The opportunity to discover the paddle wheels, the historical monuments and the array of colours that the town has to offer. 

Lunch and wine tasting 

After the effort, the comfort! Bertrand warmly welcomed us in the heart of his incredible domain, the Domaine la Garelle in Oppède for a nice wine tasting! The meal, deliciously prepared by Chez Stéphane, consisted of very nice cheese and charcuterie platters. We ended the meal with a sweet touch from Maison Jouvaud and their delicious cherry and white peach-pistachian tarts: a real treat! 

An afternoon snack with a view!

At the end of the day, we had a snack on the threshing floor of Oppède-le-Vieux prepared by Comestible Atelier, an assortment of succulent sweet bites with a view on the village! A very pleasant moment to end this beautiful day...

Discovery of the lavender fields

In Oppède, with an incredible view of the Luberon, we stop to see the lavender fields. What a sight! Our senses awake, we enjoy this moment in the heart of a landscape with the colours of Provence. 

Hiking between Maubec and Oppède-le-Vieux 

We head for the second last activity of the day: a nice walk between Maubec and Oppède-le-Vieux. On the way, Romain, our passionate nature guide, shares his knowledge of the fauna, flora and history of these villages. 

An afternoon snack with a view!

At the end of the day, we had a snack on the threshing floor of Oppède-le-Vieux prepared by Comestible Atelier, an assortment of succulent sweet bites with a view on the village! A very pleasant moment to end this beautiful day...
