On 10 October 2026 in Cabrières-d’Avignon, take part in Je marche pour un enfant, a charity day in the Cedar Forest featuring two hikes to choose from, followed by an aperitif and a friendly buffet in support of Terre des Enfants Vaucluse.
The Terre des Enfants Vaucluse association invites you to walk for a good cause in the natural setting of the Cedar Forest in Cabrières-d’Avignon. Two routes are available, allowing everyone to choose the duration that suits them best.
The longer hike starts at 10am and lasts around 2½ hours. A second route, lasting around 1½ hours, starts at 10.30am. Both hikes leave from the “Les Cèdres” picnic area.
Some sections of the trail are very stony, so good walking shoes are recommended for a comfortable hike.
After the hikes, volunteers from Terre des Enfants Vaucluse will welcome participants with a friendly aperitif and buffet.
You can then stay and enjoy the surroundings. If you would like to spend the afternoon there, remember to bring a comfortable chair and, if you wish, your boules for a game of pétanque.
Taking part in Je marche pour un enfant helps support the work of Terre des Enfants Vaucluse. The association assists children living in highly vulnerable situations, particularly in Madagascar, Haiti and Togo.
Its initiatives notably aim to support access to education and provide direct assistance to children. Taking part in this event combines the pleasure of walking in the Luberon with a meaningful act of solidarity.
