The house perched on the cliff overlooking the magnificent garden of tinctorial plants (unique site in Europe) and the hanging gardens of the castle.
It offers its guests an exceptional panoramic view of the Durance valley, the Alpilles chain and the Sainte-Victoire mountain.

La Chaumière, which was once a hotel restaurant, now has the appearance of a joyful and friendly house while retaining the old-fashioned charm of its past.

About half an hour drive from Aix-en-Provence, Cavaillon, Salon-de-Provence, Apt, an hour from Marseille, Avignon, Arles, Manosque, the sea (Cassis, Bandol, Les Saintes Maries de la mer), the Alpilles (Saint-Remy de Provence) and the Southern Alps, the village of Lauris is better than a simple stopover, it is ideally located as a rallying point for visitors wishing to go to all the prestigious sites of Provence.

The superb International Piano Festival of La Roque d'Anthéron is a 15 minute drive away.
