The address has been taken over by Alexis Osmont, a talented young chef from Evreux, who has already proved his worth at L'Endroit in Honfleur and was head chef at Gourmandises in Cormeilles in the Eure department.
Although the old farmhouse seems frozen in time, Alexis's cuisine, inspired by market produce, exudes spontaneity and freshness.
Each dish is delicately presented. Snail fricassee with a delicious potato cream, roast turbot with meat jus and pig's trotters or roast monkfish tail with bread and Paimpol coconuts, not forgetting, for a Provençal touch, the farmhouse pork chop with aubergines au jus. For dessert, the Normandy tart with apples and salted caramel is a reminder of Alexis's origins.
