Attracted from an early age by jewelry making and passionate about the colorful harmonies of fine stones, Élie de Gordes has continuously developed his art over fifty years of creations.

Élie caught the attention of Christian Lacroix, who commissioned him for several consecutive years to create models for his haute couture fashion shows. He was selected to exhibit at the Musée de la Mode in Marseille in 2003.

The curator of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris chose his jewelry to be sold at the museum's boutique. Looking for French designers for her gallery in New York, Charlotte Moss selected his creations. Élie also created a special collection for the Queen of Sweden.

Based for thirty years in his workshop-boutique in Gordes, Élie regularly participates in exhibitions such as those at the Bastide Rose - Musée Pierre Salinger in Le Thor.
