A 9th lyrical edition in the heart of the Luberon

From August 15 to 20, 2025, the listed village of Oppède-le-Vieux will host the 9th edition of the Sunset Concerts. This unique lyrical festival in Provence offers an immersive musical experience, combining open-air opera and the discovery of young talents, in an exceptional heritage setting.

On the program: La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi
On August 15, 16 and 18 at 9 p.m., the Place de la Croix will become an open-air opera stage to welcome La Traviata, a three-act opera by Verdi, inspired by The Lady of the Camellias by Alexandre Dumas fils. Under the musical direction of Cyril Diederich, the orchestra composed of musicians from the Paris Symphonic Orchestra will accompany a cast of promising young soloists:

The staging will be handled by the soloists and the conductor, with lighting design by Olivier Daulon.

On August 20 at 7:30 p.m., the Notre-Dame Dalidon Collegiate Church will host the concert "The 3 Sopranos", featuring:

Parking is available at the free Sainte-Cécile parking lot. A marked path through the vegetation will lead you to the Place de la Croix. A free shuttle is available for people with reduced mobility.
