From August 14 to 18, 2026, the village of Oppède hosts a new edition of the Sunset Concert Series.
This opera festival in Provence offers open-air opera evenings and a concert dedicated to young talents, set in a remarkable heritage site. At sunset, Place de la Croix becomes an open-air stage where music, heritage and artists come together in the unique atmosphere of Old Oppède.
On August 14, 15 and 16 at 9 pm, Place de la Croix becomes an open-air opera stage hosting La Bohème, one of the most iconic operas in the repertoire.
In the unique setting of Old Oppède, let yourself be carried away by this universal story of youth, love and fragility, brought to life by deeply expressive music.
Presented outdoors, the performance offers an immersive experience where heritage and opera meet in the heart of the Luberon.
Under the musical and artistic direction of Cyril Diederich, the festival presents an accessible opera in an exceptional heritage setting.

On August 18 at 9 pm, the Young Talents concert highlights a new generation of opera artists.
This event closes the festival with an evening dedicated to discovery and the emergence of promising young voices, in an accessible and varied musical atmosphere.
The program features a musical journey from Haydn to Strauss, including Massenet and Bernstein, offering a broad panorama of the operatic and classical repertoire.
