The soloists of the BruMe Orchestra will perform at the Protestant Church in Lourmarin for an evening devoted to 19th- and 20th-century chamber music.
This event opens a series of two concerts in the Luberon. The second concert will take place on Sunday 2 August 2026 at 9 pm at the Château d’Ansouis, with a different programme.
In Lourmarin, the programme brings together works by Franz Schubert, Carl Nielsen and Louise Farrenc, alongside Spenta Mainyu, a composition by Michel Petrossian written in 2024.
From Romanticism to contemporary creation, this concert creates a dialogue between different periods, musical sensibilities and instrumental ensembles in the intimate setting of the Protestant Church.

Spenta Mainyu by Michel Petrossian extends this musical journey into the present day. Written in 2024, this contemporary work resonates with the pieces from the repertoire and invites audiences to experience the ensemble’s sound from a new perspective.
True to its artistic identity, BruMe brings musicians together within a flexible orchestra that can move from an intimate formation to a larger ensemble. The evening is conceived as a vibrant encounter between musical heritage, performance and contemporary creation.
