Maison Fanny’s - The Seasters’ Fine Grocery in Lourmarin

A family story rooted in terroir

Our story began in Lourmarin, summer 1999, with a heartfelt connection to this charming village in the Luberon. In search of a more authentic life, we decided as a family to settle here, drawn by the desire to live in harmony with a preserved environment.

A unique concept between Provence and Brittany

After a first culinary adventure in Aix-en-Provence with the creation of Bistrot Fanny's, followed by a Breton stopover at Bistrot de la Mer, the desire to reconnect with our Provençal roots became evident. This is how the "Épicerie des Seasters" was born, a new family chapter dedicated to crafting flavored salts and spices, creating a true bridge between our two regions: Provence and Brittany.

Back in Lourmarin, I seized the opportunity to take over a shop in the heart of the village to create a unique and friendly place, at once a fine grocery, concept store, and living space. The idea? To offer a selection of high-quality products made with French and family artisanal know-how:

• Origin coffee roasted by my son Charles,
• Jika chocolate created by my brother Baldwin,
• local honey, lavender, wine, sardines, and many other delicious finds.

Naturally, I invited my sisters Julie and Aurélie to join the project, to forge a strong bond between our two cultural identities, united by a shared love of good food, sharing, and art de vivre.

A lively and committed place

Throughout the year, we organize tastings, meetings, and events with local artisans and producers, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our goal: to nurture a lively, engaged, and community-centered local shop for both Lourmarin residents and visitors.
