Mi madre y el dinero brings together Anacarsis Ramos and his mother around an intimate, funny and sensitive story.
On stage, they retrace some of the many jobs carried out by Josefina Orlaineta, while questioning their relationship to money, theater and social determinisms.
A show in Mexican Spanish, offered with French surtitles.
Between 1960 and 2020, Josefina Orlaineta, the director's mother, worked in more than forty different jobs.
His son, Anacarsis Ramos, went to Mexico City to learn theater and be able to fully embrace his homosexuality.
In this show, mother and son share with humor and tenderness their relationship to money, work, creation and life choices.

Mi madre y el dinero combines economic reflection and theatrical fiction with delicacy, self-deprecation and a critical look at society.
At once a documentary theater, a one (wo) man show and a narration of our tenderness, the show composes a free, lively and subtle form.
Anacarsis Ramos offers here a plural stage proposal, driven by the emotion, humor and sincerity of the family bond.
