An acrobatic brass band combining circus and music

OctOpus in Mérindol, combining circus, brass music, acrobatics, lifts and bicycles

OctOpus combines circus, brass music and acrobatics in a festive adventure created by Circa Tsuïca and the Cheptel Aleïkoum collective.

On stage, eight circus artists and musicians perform while cycling, soaring through the air and lifting one another. Brass instruments, voices and percussion set the pace for this spectacular adventure.

Korean teeterboard, hula hoop, acrobatic cycling and breathtaking aerial feats come together in a lively, humorous and generous outdoor celebration.

Brass music that sets the pace

Rémi Sciuto’s exhilarating brass arrangements, inspired by popular music, launch the movement and give this extraordinary band its distinctive character.

Acrobatics to the rhythm of the band

Aerial lifts, Korean teeterboard, hula hoop, acrobatic cycling and breathtaking feats unfold to the rhythm of the instruments.

As part of La Garance’s Nomade(s) programme, OctOpus takes to the road to meet audiences with four free performances in different towns and villages.

At 5 pm, behind La Pépinière nursery school.

This tour is jointly organised with the municipalities of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Mollégès and Noves, together with the Mérindol Culture association.

A circus show for the whole family

OctOpus joyfully blurs the boundaries between a concert, a circus show and a great community celebration.

The artists play, sing, cycle, leap and lift one another in a shared momentum, transforming the public space into a vibrant circus ring.

Open to all ages, this outdoor show invites children and adults alike to laugh, marvel and be swept along by an extraordinary acrobatic brass band.
