Stoneware, marbled clays, Raku... Three techniques, three worlds, each expressing a quest for authenticity. Stoneware, sober and deep, reveals subtle and changing textures. Marbled clays, also called "melitudes", let color emerge through each gesture like a musical composition. As for Raku, this ancestral Japanese technique of fast firing reflects the beauty of imperfection and the intensity of the present moment.
