On October 17 in Cavaillon, participate in a photo workshop with Christine Cornillet to put Dorothea Lange's photographic vision into practice, based on some of her iconic images.
With Prises de vues à la manière de Dorothea Lange, les participants sont invités à explorer la vision photographique de cette grande figure de la photographie documentaire.
In resonance with some iconic images by Dorothea Lange, the workshop proposes to put into practice her gaze, her attention to people and her way of telling reality through images.
The session continues with a time to share images, to discuss the shots taken.
Dorothea Lange's images serve as a starting point to question the gaze, the framing and the attention paid to the subject.
The workshop invites you to work on the composition of the image, the place of the subject and the way to tell a situation.
Each participant puts these principles into practice with their own equipment, camera or smartphone.
After the implementation, a time of sharing allows us to discuss the images produced, the choices of framing and the photographic intentions.
Participants are invited to bring their camera or smartphone, as well as a transfer cable.
The workshop is accessible from the age of 12, to discover photography through experimentation and exchange.
