On 14 and 15 November 2026, the 9th Santon Makers' Fair brings together 17 santon and nativity makers from Provence at the Moulin Saint-Pierre in Les Taillades, with children's workshops, entertainment and a sale of santons and nativity accessories.
For its 9th edition, the Santon Makers' Fair brings together 17 santon and nativity makers from Provence. Over two days, visitors can browse their stands and discover santons, figures and accessories for creating or adding to a traditional Provençal nativity scene.
The fair also offers an introduction to this traditional craft through workshops for children, including free santon moulding and santon painting with an unpainted figure provided.
Organised by Les Semences de la Garance, the event takes place at the Moulin Saint-Pierre, one of the emblematic sites of Les Taillades, combining an exhibition and sale, traditional craftsmanship and activities inspired by Provençal traditions.
Children can take part in a free santon moulding workshop and discover one of the stages involved in making these traditional Provençal figures.
A painting workshop gives children the chance to decorate an unpainted santon provided on site. Fee: €1, booking at the welcome desk.
The group Lis Animaire dou Luberoun will take part in this 9th edition and provide musical entertainment during the fair.
A tombola will be held during the fair, with tickets priced at €1 each and santons and nativity-scene accessories to be won.
