In the heart of Luberon, in Viens, Domaine Les Davids is a restored land where vineyards, orchards, market gardens and biodiversity make up a living and unique landscape.

The estate now extends over 320 hectares, including 35 hectares of vines, cultivated in organic polyculture.
The vines are spread over five terroirs, between 580 and 680 meters above sea level, in an environment conducive to diversified viticulture.
During the Sunsets Vignerons, Les Davids invite you to discover their cellar, their terrace, their bakery and their unique way of creating a dialogue between wine, nature and hospitality.
Historic lands restored with patience
As early as the 16th century, there was mention of the estate, which was then owned by the Sinety family, a noble family of Italian origin. A cadastral description from 1687 already attests to the presence of vines.
Over time, the property is transformed into a rural estate. During the 20th century, vineyards and orchards gradually gave way to pastures.
In 1977, the lands of the Davids were sanctified with the creation of the Luberon Regional Natural Park. In 1998, Sophie Le Clercq initiated the restoration of the estate, with an initial biological conversion of the land put into cultivation.
Replant the vine and bring the estate back to life
By dint of tenacity, the team formed at Davids plants and seeds. The orchards are flourishing, market gardening abundant and the crops are transformed into organic juices, preserves and jams.
In 2004, Syrah vines were planted on a hillside identified as one of the last wine-growing areas in Vaucluse.
After four years of patience, the first cuvée was born in 2008. It is called Dernières Terres, as a tribute to this rediscovered land.
Terroir & know-how

The geology of the Davids is characterized by calcareous sediments formed between the Cretaceous and the Tertiary era, then disrupted by the tectonic movements linked to the formation of the Alps and the Pyreneo-Provençal chain.
The Davids Valley is located between 580 and 680 meters above sea level and benefits from 360° exhibitions.
Depending on altitude, lithology and slope, the estate is divided into five different terroirs, suitable for diversified and expressive viticulture.
Winemaking & architecture

The Davids winery, designed in 2015 by the architect Marc Barani, was designed using gravity. Completed in 2021, it is connected on three levels.
Gravity drives the entire process, from grape cellaring to bottling. This method preserves the integrity of the berries and the aromas of the wine, without pumping.
Its shape and color recall the colors of the rocks and neighboring lands, in perfect harmony with the landscape of the estate.
A huge terrace and concrete tanks
Hugging the hillside, the winery maintains the necessary freshness and darkness within its walls, despite the variations of the Mediterranean climate.
Its roof terrace, a huge 30 x 6 meter cantilever, offers a spectacular view of the concrete tank room. In summer, it is on this terrace that wines are tasted accompanied by local dishes.
Concrete tanks, neutral in terms of taste and comparable to wood in their porosity, reveal the essence of the land. Their tulip shape favors optimal contact between the liquid and solid phases of the grape.
Le Comptoir des Davids, cellar and place of sharing
With a view of the aging barrels, the cellar welcomes visitors for tastings and blending workshops throughout the year.
It includes wines from the estate as well as an assortment of local products, in the spirit of sharing and hospitality that characterizes Les Davids.
With its terrace, its bakery and its preserved environment, the estate offers a gourmet and sensitive Luberon experience.
