Domaine viticole AOP Ventoux & lieu d’expériences

The Domaine de Tara, a place of experiences at the gates of Roussillon

Dating back to the 18th century, the Domaine de Tara was for a long time a relay for travelers, merchants and the transport of ochres, before housing a polyculture farm.

Domaine de Tara at the gates of Roussillon in the

Under the impetus of Anselme Selosse, in the 1990s, the field really took off. Recognizing similarities in this region with his native Champagne, he saw the potential for expressive and elegant white wines from Ventoux.

Today, Guillaume and François-Julien Vermersch continue the adventure with a committed vision that respects the environment, people and future generations.

During the Sunsets Vignerons, the Domaine de Tara invites you to discover its wines, its welcome, its history and its Ventoux spirit.

A conversion to organic farming and a sustainable vineyard

Guillaume and François-Julien Vermersch reinforce Domaine de Tara's commitment to nature, with a conversion to organic farming and a particular focus on the balance of living organisms.

The estate is also investing in a new wine cellar in order to better meet the needs of wines and bioclimatic challenges.

This vision makes it possible to build a virtuous, sustainable and transmissible vineyard, at the service of expressive wines and a place that crosses generations.

Terroir & know-how

A hillside in Ventoux worked in agroecology

Located south of the AOP Ventoux, the Domaine de Tara extends over 12 hectares, established on an east-facing hillside, at an altitude of 250 meters.

For several years, the field has been part of a concrete agroecological approach, which favors soil life, biodiversity and sustainable practices.

Vitipastoralism, with the grazing of sheep in the vineyards, contributes to this natural balance and to the vitality of the vineyard.

A place to visit, rest and share

In 2024, Tara returns to three centuries of history and once again becomes a place to visit, rest and share.

The estate invites each guest to take a break to enjoy a moment out of time, conducive to discovery, tasting and the authenticity of human exchanges.

The soul of Tara is also the people who make it live all year round: Guillaume, François-Julien, Pascale, Mathieu and the entire large family of the estate.

Wines & cuvees

Cuvees that reveal the Ventoux spirit

Domaine de Tara Wines en AOP Ventoux blanc rouge rosé et cuvées gourmandes

Domaine de Tara reveals all the facets of AOP Ventoux in white, red and rosé, through wines that are expressive, elegant and deeply linked to their land.

The Falerna range brings together cuvees for aging from plot selections and aged in oak barrels. Hautes Pierres expresses the fruit, the finesse and the elegance of the domain's know-how.

The Terre d'Ocres range offers wines to be enjoyed young, fresh and aromatic, complemented by original cuvees such as Éclat, Mi-Figue Mi-Raisin or orange wine.

Wines, Honey, Olive Oil and the Art of Living

At Domaine de Tara, the experience does not end with the wine. On site, you can also discover olive oil, organic honey and organic syrups.
