On the borders of the Luberon Regional Natural Park, a few kilometers from Lourmarin, is Château La Verrerie. A unique geographical location expressed by the estate's wines, in red, white and rosé.

To the north, the wines of the Côtes du Rhône, including Châteauneuf-du-Pape. To the south, those of the Côtes de Provence. Between the two, the soil of the Luberon Massif gives birth to cuvees that reflect their place.
Since 1981, the estate has affirmed a strong ambition: to make this land a land of excellence, in a region where only a few artisan winemakers then carried the Luberon.
During the Sunsets Vignerons, Château La Verrerie opens its doors to you to share its history, its terroirs and its wines in a friendly atmosphere.
Since 1981, a land of excellence
It was in 1981 that Jean-Louis Descours fell in love with this privileged land, located on the borders of the Luberon.
At the time, the site had about twenty hectares of vineyards, which were operated by a local producer.
A pioneer among pioneers, the estate wanted very early on to make this land a place of winemaking excellence, by affirming a demanding vision, respectful of the land and focused on quality.
Terroir & know-how

Everything here exudes respect and love for plants: vines flourishing on living soils, healthy and spaced fruits, measured and thoughtful agricultural actions.
The estate is committed to fine winemaking, imbued with the principles of organic farming, in order to preserve the vitality of the soils and the balance of the grapes.
This careful approach allows Château La Verrerie cuvees to express the uniqueness of their land, between Luberon, Rhône Valley and Provence.
Vinify to reveal the wines of the estate
Working in organic agriculture to better respect nature: this is the vision of Château La Verrerie. This requirement starts in the vineyard, with particular care given to the plant.
In the cellar, the team ensures a fair expression of the land, by accompanying the grapes with precision and respect. This work is carried out in particular by Faouzi, cellar master since 2009.
The tasting offered during the Sunsets Vignerons allows you to discover several cuvees, reflections of the estate's terroirs and its know-how.
