The majestic structure of Mas des Infermières, along the road to Saint-Sébastien, is located in the Poulivets plain, at the gates of Oppède-le-Vieux.

Owned by Ridley Scott, the cellar is the result of a singular ambition: to combine the excellence of winemaking and the craft of cinema in a dedicated space.
Visitors can explore the vintages bottled on site, while immersing themselves in memories of Mr. Scott's movie world.
Architecturally, the cellar is inspired by the characteristics of a classic Provençal cellar, with a resolutely contemporary approach.
A story of family and place
Ridley Scott and his family regularly stayed in the Luberon for over 30 years before choosing Le Mas des Infermières as their favorite vacation spot.
They bought the Mas and its 11 hectares of vineyards in 1992, attracted by the light, climate, culture and calm of the Luberon.
From the beginning, the Scott family wanted to preserve the Provençal winemaking tradition while building a modern winery, capable of producing high quality wines in accordance with the rules of the art.
The Mas des Infermières is above all a story of family and place, a living and multigenerational project.
A farmhouse steeped in history
Before the 19th century, the surrounding region, the Comtat Venaissin, belonged to the papacy. The farmhouse was then a place of care, probably run by Italian sisters.
The first official mention of Mas des Infermières appears on Napoleon's land register in 1831.
The estate then belonged to General Baron Robert, one of the illustrious generals and surgeons, or health officer, of the Napoleonic army. Over two centuries later, this story remains a source of inspiration for Ridley Scott.
Terroir & know-how

The southernmost region of the Rhône Valley, Luberon combines the characteristics of the Mediterranean climate in Rhône with those of Haute Provence.
The sunny land, the soils of hard limestone, marl, marl, sand and red clay, as well as the vines sheltered from the Mistral under the Luberon massif, make it possible to produce wines with remarkable potential.
Luberon wines are distinguished by crisp reds, fresh and aromatic whites, as well as fruity and subtly spicy rosés.
Fresh, balanced wines that are faithful to the land
The vineyards of Mas des Infermières are located at about 200 meters above sea level, on the coolest north face of the Luberon.
This situation makes it possible to obtain fresh and balanced wines, marked by the expression of the soil and by a beautiful aromatic complexity.
The cuvees resulting from the blends of the plots represent the typicity of the Luberon region, with elegant, expressive and harmonious wines.
