Sommaire
The majestic structure of the Mas des Infermières, along the chemin de Saint-Sébastien, lies in the Poulivets plain at the gateway to Oppède-le-Vieux. Owned by Ridley Scott, the winery is the fruit of a long ambition to bring together the excellence of winemaking and the craftsmanship of the cinema in a dedicated space. Visitors can explore the vintages bottled here on site, while immersing themselves in memories of Mr Scott's own cinematic world. Architecturally, the winery is inspired by the characteristics of a classic Provençal cellar but with a resolutely contemporary approach, a design philosophy that runs throughout the estate.
3 stages for 1 festive evening.
You'll be talking wine, terroir, grape varieties, cultivation, blends and pairings... all with passion and in three stages:
- 1 walk through the vines (30/45 mins)
- 1 visit to the cellar
- a wine tasting session, accompanied by "petits plats du terroir" (local dishes)
Sunsets Vignerons evenings at Mas des Infermières
"Aromatic Plants" evening
Aromatic plants with their natural essences, which perfume our gardens and our plates, play an essential role in Provençal cuisine, offering a varied palette of flavours. These herbs, true emblems of this land blessed by the sun, have the power to enhance and complement the aromas of carefully selected wines.
To accompany the Domaine's wines, La Cuisine de Gaël (Oppède) offers :
- Papeton of Aubergine with Tomato and Basil Coulis
- Tataki of Tuna, Lime, Sesame, Lemongrass, Roasted Vegetables with Thyme
- Roasted Apricot Crumble with Honey and Rosemary
"Olive" evening
In a warm atmosphere at sunset, savour dishes prepared using this small green or black fruit that weaves its history through Provençal culture and cuisine, served with a tasting of the estate's wines. Mediterranean flavours are revealed, accompanied by wines carefully selected to complement the nuances of the olives.
To accompany the estate's wines, L'Atelier L'Art des Mets (Les Taillades) proposes :
- Foccacia with Olives and Rosemary, vegetable compote with green olives
- Tortilla of bull stew with olives
- Genoa bread with black olives, olive and lemon jam
"Chefs and Millésimes" evening
Kevin BERBUDEAU, chef at l'Atelier Gourmand, offers you a three-stage surprise menu on the theme of ‘sea & exotic’. In an exceptional setting in the heart of the vineyards, savour refined dishes accompanied by prestigious vintages. Scallops? Salmon? Let yourself be surprised.
