Lire à Gordes Book Festival

Lire à Gordes returns for its 4th edition on April 25 and 26, 2026, in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in the Luberon. For two days, Gordes becomes a true meeting place for literature lovers, featuring renowned authors, discussions, book signings and workshops for children.

Free and open to all, this book festival marks the start of the village’s cultural season with a rich and accessible program. In the Town Hall Gardens and on Place du Château, meet writers, explore their worlds and share your passion for reading in an exceptional setting.

This year, Didier Van Cauwelaert, patron of the 2026 edition, will be present alongside many authors including Irène Frain, Timothée de Fombelle, Pierre Arditi, Franck Thilliez, Yasmina Khadra and many others.
