Become a soap-maker for a day! with Arôma'plantes

Soap has a special place in our bathrooms and kitchens: in France, we use an average of 1.6 kg of soap per person per year!
There's been a lot of controversy in recent years about the raw materials used to make soap, so why not learn how natural soap is made, and even better, why not make it yourself?

That's what Arôma'plantes has to offer. Accompanied by our soap-makers, come and make your own soap using simple, natural ingredients, essential oils and the colours of your choice: the soaps you take home will be unique.

• In the shoes of a lavender grower: Come and harvest and distil your own lavender. Discover the traditional cultivation of lavender, guided by the producer. On the programme: the history of lavender, an introduction to cutting with a sickle and a saquette, then distillation of your harvest. Leave with your own bottle of essential oil.
  
  
• The soap-making apprentice: Make your own shower gel. Discover the secrets of soap-making (cold saponification technique and use of organic ingredients) in the heart of our laboratory and leave with your own shower gel.
