At the Lavender Museum Luberon in Coustellet, the sensory workshop invites both children and adults to explore lavender and fragrant plants through an immersive experience engaging all five senses.
This original workshop offers a true sensory journey where you touch, smell, observe, listen and taste to better understand the full aromatic richness of lavender.
Participants compare fragrances, identify olfactory nuances and discover the differences between several aromatic plants. A fun way to refine your senses and take the time to rediscover the scents of Provence.
The experience ends with the creation of a scented filter, made using essential oils used as raw materials in perfumery.
Accessible to adults and children from 11 years old, this educational workshop offers a unique and interactive way to discover lavender.
The experience begins with discovery boxes: participants place their hands into different textures, identify fragrances, observe colors and connect these sensations to memories or emotions.
The workshop continues with listening to sounds, a blind tasting of syrups and an introduction to the olfactory pyramid, helping visitors understand the concepts of top, heart and base notes used in perfumery.
