Roasted peach skewers – a delicious recipe from Luberon

Ingredients for 6 people

  • 12 small vineyard peaches
  • 5 cl of Luberon white wine
  • 80 g of caster sugar
  • 50 g of butter
  • 6 large sprigs of rosemary

Preparation - step by step

  1. Prepare the peaches. Wash and dry the peaches. Cut them in half and remove the stones.
  2. Assemble the skewers. Thread the peach halves onto the rosemary sprigs and place them in a sauté pan.
  3. Cook gently. Sprinkle with sugar and dot with butter. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the white wine. Pour in the Luberon white wine and continue cooking for 20 minutes covered, basting the peaches regularly with their cooking juices.
  5. Serve. Enjoy these roasted peach skewers cold, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delicious and refreshing dessert.
