On Saturday September 19, 2026, the Lourmarin media library hosts a Café-Histoire dedicated to endangered heritage. With Guillaume Beckert, doctor in history and specialist in southern Luberon, discuss these material and intangible remains that are sometimes forgotten, threatened or rediscovered. A free appointment, intended for adults and adolescents, upon reservation.

Heritage is buildings, gardens, monuments, but also languages, outfits, traditions and know-how. It tells a common story, sometimes visible, sometimes more discreet, but always linked to who we are.
However, this heritage can be forgotten, transformed, or even destroyed. Out of interest, out of disinterest or simply because it is no longer understood, part of the local identity can then disappear with it.
With Guillaume Beckert, this Café-Histoire proposes to open the debate around these threatened material and intangible remains. An encounter to question how we look at the past, on what we choose to keep, and on what we risk losing.
An appointment to reflect together on the place of heritage in our collective memory.
