Architecture, decorative details and digital tools come together during this original morning activity, where you will take immersive photographs before processing and sharing your images on the Mapillary platform. A mapping party is a participatory outing combining the discovery of a place, digital photography and collaborative mapping.
For this event in Cavaillon, participants will discover Notre-Dame and Saint-Véran Cathedral, its architecture and its Romanesque, Baroque and 19th-century decorative features.
Using the digital equipment provided, they will take photographs before heading to the media library to work on their images and share them on the Mapillary platform.
An original way to take a fresh look at Cavaillon’s heritage through digital tools.
Nadège will be joined by Lioba Hurst, cultural mediator with Cavaillon’s Heritage and Museums Department, to guide participants through the cathedral and its decorative features.
The morning will then continue at the media library, where participants will work on the images they have taken and share them on Mapillary.
