Sylla, a Family of Winegrowers

A winery in town... To say the least, Sylla breaks the codes, proudly standing in the urban environment of the centre of Apt since 1925!

It was important to highlight this particularity because the Sylla Winery is strategically located in the heart of the 12 communes of the Pays d'Apt, where the vines of its 110 winegrowers are spread out. Sylla is a (large) "family of winegrowers" whose photographs of these men and women, craftsmen of the land and of taste, are displayed at the entrance and welcome visitors.

Sylla produces a range of AOP Luberon and Ventoux wines, in parcel and estate vintages, using organic and sustainable viticulture.
In a preserved environment recognised as a biosphere reserve, the Sylla vineyard is the last one before passing from the Grand Luberon to the relief of the southern pre-Alps. Due to its high altitude, diversified exposure and soils, Sylla benefits from exceptional conditions that its passionate winegrowers are keen to express with authenticity in their wines...

Wine tourism and multiple experiences...

Sylla has a number of surprises in store for its visitors, with a restaurant in the heart of the cellar where you can taste its wines. The combination of wine, cheese and local charcuterie is suggested in an introductory tour of the most beautiful pairings in a few well-chosen wines. A tasting lunch in the heart of the bottles: a simple but effective idea to test a wide range of wines with unique characters!

The plus: in the shop, you will also find accessories and tableware on the theme of wine and service.

The winegrowers will take you to their plots, to the heart of the vineyard, to share their work and pass on their passion: pruning, the seasons of the vine, the different terroirs and their influence on the expression of the wines, etc...
Back at the cellar, visit the cellar and discover the art of vinification and maturing of the wines, the presses... a commented tasting will complete the visit...
