An exceptional wine estate

Nestled in an idyllic setting among vineyards, olive trees, and Provençal hills, the Château de Sannes is a true haven of peace where nature and history meet. Founded in 1603, this exceptional wine estate spans 73 hectares, blending heritage, craftsmanship, and environmental respect.

Located in the heart of the Luberon Regional Natural Park, Château de Sannes benefits from a clay-limestone terroir that is ideal for the expression of Mediterranean grape varieties. Its Mediterranean climate, tempered by the Mistral wind, provides perfect conditions for slow and balanced grape ripening.

Committed to organic and biodynamic farming, the estate favors cultivation that respects the soil and natural cycles. The use of sustainable techniques, such as preserving plant cover and managing water resources responsibly, ensures wines that are both authentic and full of character.

A winery where tradition meets modernity

The vinification and aging cellar at Château de Sannes strikes a delicate balance between innovation and winemaking heritage. Designed to preserve the integrity of the fruit, it features state-of-the-art facilities that allow for precise and natural vinification.

Vinification stages:

  • Hand harvesting in the early hours of the day to maintain the grapes' aromatic freshness.
  • Rigorous sorting on a table to select only the highest-quality berries.
  • Fermentation with indigenous yeasts to promote a pure expression of the terroir.
  • Tailored aging: in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness of whites and rosés, and in French oak barrels to add structure and complexity to the reds.

Each cuvée is crafted with great care, ensuring wines of remarkable finesse and elegance.

Refined wines with authentic flavors

The wines of Château de Sannes express all the richness and diversity of the Luberon terroir. Each cuvée is the result of meticulous work, combining freshness, structure, and aromatic intensity.
