Located in the heart of the Luberon Regional Natural Park, Château de Sannes benefits from a clay-limestone terroir that is ideal for the expression of Mediterranean grape varieties. Its Mediterranean climate, tempered by the Mistral wind, provides perfect conditions for slow and balanced grape ripening.

From vine to glass

Discover the vine cycle and the estate’s eco-friendly work!
Set off on an immersive visit in the heart of the Château de Sannes vineyard. This experience begins in the vines to understand the vine cycle, the winemaker’s work throughout the seasons and the eco-responsible practices implemented on the estate.
Along the way, you will discover the different soils and grape varieties that make up the vineyard, as well as the history of Château de Sannes and the specific features of the Luberon appellation. The visit is also an opportunity to admire the landscapes and villages surrounding the estate, including Ansouis, listed among the most beautiful villages in France.
In the second part of the visit, you will access the vat room and the cellar to understand the different winemaking techniques and the expertise of the cellar master.
The visit ends with a guided tasting, allowing you to discover the wines of Château de Sannes and appreciate the full richness of the terroir.
During the harvest season (September & October), access to the cellar is not possible from inside. However, it remains visible from the shop balcony.

As you walk through the vineyard lands, you will understand the particularities of our terroir, the specific features of our grape varieties and the secrets of our vines. Throughout the visit, you will also admire the landscapes of the Luberon and the surrounding villages, including Ansouis, listed among the most beautiful villages in France.
The experience ends with a guided tasting of all our wines in the estate shop, an ideal opportunity to discover the identity and diversity of Château de Sannes.

Cellar Tour and Tasting

Discover the new winemaking tools of Château de Sannes!
During this visit, explore behind the scenes of the cellar and vat room at Château de Sannes. Through the explanations of our team, you will gain a complete overview of the process behind creating our vintages, from the grape harvest to ageing in oak barrels.
You will understand the role of the new technologies used in the winemaking cellar as well as the traditional methods that preserve the identity of our Luberon terroir. The visit also allows you to discover all the logistics required to create fine, elegant and expressive wines.
The experience concludes with a guided tasting of 6 Château de Sannes vintages, helping you better understand the character and diversity of our wines.
During the harvest season (September & October), the cellar is not accessible from inside but remains visible from the shop balcony.
