On Saturdays 21 November and 19 December 2026, the Les Taillades media library is hosting two Ciné-surprise sessions for children. With Ciné-surprise, the Les Taillades media library invites children to come and watch a film without knowing in advance which one will be shown. The title is deliberately kept secret until the screening begins.
The concept adds a touch of mystery to the experience: no trailer and no film to choose, simply get comfortable and trust the librarian’s selection.
Each screening offers a different theme and age group, with a musical in November and a Christmas-themed session in December.

For ages 6-10
A session featuring a musical film to enjoy on the big screen. Songs, rhythm and cinema are all part of the experience, but the title remains a secret until the screening begins.
Saturday 19 December · 2pm
For ages 3-5
As Christmas approaches, younger children are invited to discover a surprise film inspired by the festive season, specially selected for them by the media library.
Karine, the librarian, selects a film for each session to suit its theme and audience.
The title is not revealed in advance: young viewers discover the media library’s choice once they are settled in front of the big screen.
