This evening brings together two artists whose songs draw on intimate stories, memories and heritage. Juliette Magnevasoa and Agathe Romane each offer a highly personal approach to songwriting, shaped by different musical worlds yet connected by the same sensitivity.
Blending folk, pop, French chanson and contemporary sounds, both artists transform personal stories and emotions into music.

Juliette Magnevasoa uses music as a bridge between Madagascar, France and her own personal journey. After almost ten years performing with the duo Pauline & Juliette, she is now opening a new solo chapter alongside the Les Rythmes Ruban label.
Her encounter with BlackJoy and collaboration with producer Blundetto have shaped a sensitive songwriting style influenced by artists including Gaby Moreno, Anne Sylvestre, Simon & Garfunkel and Nadau. A distinctive artist who turns intimate experiences into luminous, deeply human songs.
Agathe Romane is an artist from Nîmes who grew up surrounded by her father’s guitar playing and a love of French chanson. She turns her emotions into music with an open sensitivity that often lies close to the surface.
She blends urban sounds, dreamy lyrics and passionate songwriting in a musical world she describes as “Pop-Romanesque”.
Before the concert, La Gare de Coustellet offers a backstage dinner from 7pm. A chance to enjoy dinner in a small group and ease into the atmosphere before the music begins.
