On 7 November 2026 in Mérindol, adults and juniors are invited to put on their aprons for a cooking competition inspired by the Mediterranean, under the watchful eye of chef Laetitia Visse, chair of the jury.

Held as part of the Livres & Gastronomie fair in Mérindol, the cooking competition invites adults and juniors to create a recipe inspired by the Mediterranean. Olive oil, Provençal herbs, citrus fruit, fish or spices: the theme lends itself to a wide range of sweet and savoury interpretations.
The creations will be presented to a jury chaired by Laetitia Visse, chef at La Femme du Boucher restaurant in Marseille. It is an invitation to explore flavours, combinations and presentation, and to take the jury on a culinary journey around the Mediterranean.
After the applications have been shortlisted, 12 recipes will be selected for the final, held in Mérindol on Saturday 7 November 2026.

The results will be announced at the end of the afternoon during the aperitif at the Salle des fêtes, with prizes awarded to the top three entrants in each category.
