On Saturday 7 November 2026 in Mérindol, the 4th edition of Livres & Gastronomie brings literature and the pleasures of the table together through encounters, a producers' market, workshops, a cooking competition and a banquet.

For its 4th edition, Livres & Gastronomie invites readers, food lovers and curious visitors to come together in Mérindol around two worlds made for sharing: books and cooking.
Throughout the day, the event will feature round-table discussions, a bookshop, a cooking competition, an herb walk, a producers' and tableware market, children's and cooking workshops, followed by a banquet. It is a chance to move from stories to flavours, from meeting authors to discovering products and culinary know-how.
This edition is supported by Noha Baz, a cookbook author and doctor whose books and recipes explore the flavours of the Levant and the Middle East.
One of the highlights of this 4th edition, the Mérindol cooking competition invites adults and juniors to create a recipe inspired by the theme "Mediterranean", with chef Laetitia Visse chairing the jury.
Registration is open until 20 October 2026. Find the participation details, competition format and all practical information on the dedicated page.
