Domaine Le Novi, rooted in both tradition and innovation, is a family legacy passed down through five generations. Romain & Jean Claude, heirs to this passion for viticulture, lovingly cultivate around twenty hectares of organic vineyards in the commune of La Tour d'Aigues. This exceptional terroir, exclusively planted with 12 Mediterranean grape varieties, consists of 40% white grapes and 60% red grapes, each carefully selected for its perfect adaptation to the climate and soil of our estate.

Our estate is built upon a remarkable geological history, exclusively set on Safres or soft sandstones, dating back to the Helvetian and Tortonian periods. This unique composition lends our terroir an unparalleled finesse, blending sandy soils with clay-limestone terrains.
Located to the east of the Luberon massif, we benefit from a Mediterranean climate with a mountainous influence, characterized by harsh winters and significant daily temperature variations. The silica-rich Safre plays a crucial role in this climatic identity by providing cool summer nights, essential for the slow ripening of the grapes, thus preserving the natural freshness of our wines.
These nuances, specific to our estate and combined with our diversity of 15 grape varieties, allow for a viticultural approach that is both personal and distinctive, shaping wines with a strong and complex identity.

Le Novi is also distinguished by its diverse grape varieties, with 15 different varietals spread across more than 35 parcels. Over time, we have chosen late-ripening, ancient, and Provençal varieties, reflecting our commitment to adapting our viticulture to the changing climate while staying true to our roots.
We practice the art of blending, harmoniously combining three to four different grape varieties in our cuvées to enhance their richness and complexity. The strong presence of white grape varieties, accounting for 40% of our production, highlights our uniqueness in the region and our dedication to both diversity and quality.
We look forward to welcoming you for a moment of conviviality and discovery, sharing wines that are the fruit of an exceptional terroir and a savoir-faire passed down through generations.
Visits are organized by appointment only, offering an intimate and authentic experience at the heart of our family estate.
