Éveil - Family festival for children

For its first edition, the Éveil Festival transforms the MJC of Cavaillon into a true space of discovery for families. Over two days, children and adults alike are invited to explore ecology, music and cultural practices through a festive and participatory programme.

Between laughter and reflection, visitors can wander at their own pace, enjoy the shows and activities, and discover initiatives around recycling and creativity. This young audience festival offers a playful way to reflect on our relationship with waste and overconsumption.

A friendly event to enjoy with the whole family in a joyful atmosphere that is open and accessible to everyone.

Food truck "C dans l'oeuf" and refreshment stand on site.

Filled with acrobatic circus acts, this interactive and offbeat adventure explores with contagious energy our sometimes absurd relationship with material possessions.

A participatory circus performance combining humour, performance and reflection.

In this original musical show, Zik turns scraps and everyday objects into real musical instruments. Facing the fearsome Bruitos, dictator of noise, he sets out on a mission to save music in a rhythmic and creative adventure.

My First Concert

A rock concert designed especially for children.

This show immerses young audiences in the world of rock’n’roll through a lively and interactive staging. With dialogues, music and energetic performances, children discover the atmosphere of a first concert and are invited to sing, dance and tap their feet.

To close the festival, it’s time to celebrate!
The Éveil Party invites families to share a collective moment of music and dancing in a festive and friendly atmosphere.

Workshops and activities for children

In addition to the shows, the festival offers several participatory workshops and creative activities.

Discovery workshops

• Comic and manga workshop led by Laurent André
  Children discover the different steps involved in creating a comic page, from the storyline to the drawing.
• Creative recycling workshop with Hélène El Youssefi (NénépopiZ)
  Transform old magazines into decorative creations.
• Science and sport workshop with Les Petits Débrouillards
  Fun experiments to understand movement, balance and the body's energy.
• Circus workshop with Sylvie and Alexandre
  Introduction to circus disciplines such as juggling, balance and coordination.

The workshops take place on Saturday from 1:30 pm to 3:45 pm, in rotation and without registration.

Free-access activities

On Saturday, from noon until 6:00 pm, several activities are offered:

• reading corner and games with the Cavaillon media library
• spring face painting for children with Alexia from Anim et Vous
• interactive area about waste sorting with LMV Waste Prevention
• interactive activity "Me and Others" - learning and playing together

A raffle is also organised with local shops in Cavaillon.
