Festival de Robion, a summer music event in the heart of the Luberon

Festival de Robion at the Théâtre de Verdure

Every summer, the Festival de Robion takes over the Théâtre de Verdure for a series of open-air concerts in the heart of Robion.

World music, jazz, soul, folk, Latin American rhythms, African sounds and Balkan influences: since its beginnings, the festival has celebrated musical discovery and encounters between cultures.

Run by a team of volunteers, this summer festival combines concerts, opening acts and convivial moments in the natural setting of the Théâtre de Verdure.

Since its beginnings, the Festival de Robion has been run by a 100% volunteer team and has championed a programme open to world music and emerging artists. The 29th edition, held in 2026, notably showcased bands and projects led by female voices.

From 4 to 18 July 2026, seven evenings took audiences on a musical journey through cumbia, jazz, folk, soul, Balkan music, Afro-pop and Caribbean rhythms.

Saturday 4 July

Magdalena

Cumbia • salsa • vallenato

The festival’s opening night kicked off the 2026 edition with the six musicians of Magdalena and their Latin American rhythms inspired by Colombia.

Thursday 9 July

Kutu + Lazy Afternoon

Pop folk • ethio-jazz

Following an opening set by Lazy Afternoon, Kutu blended jazz, groove and Ethiopian sounds in a musical universe inspired by the vibrant nights of Addis Ababa.

Mathilda Rose opened the evening before Lidiya Koycheva & Balkan Orkestra took over with an energetic and festive journey through the sounds of the Balkans.

La Tarona and Cuban-Chilean cellist and singer Ana Carla Maza took audiences on a journey through jazz, Cuban music, bossa nova and Caribbean rhythms.

Thursday 16 July

Yeko + Duo ZL

Gypsy jazz • Afro-pop • reggae

Duo ZL opened the evening before Yeko, Yohann Le Ferrand’s project blending guitar, balafon, Afro-pop, reggae and Malian influences.

After the jazz duo Etienne Alsamia & Co, Lila-May introduced audiences to her musical world, blending classic jazz, modern pop and soul.

Latino folk • Colombian cumbia

La Casa Flotante and Puerto Candelaria brought the 2026 edition to a close with a colourful evening of Colombian cumbia, tropical sounds, jazz and world music.

The spirit of Festival de Robion

During the 2026 edition, each evening began with an opening act, giving audiences the chance to discover more artists before the main concert. Food and drinks were also available on site, adding to the friendly atmosphere of the Théâtre de Verdure.
